Trendy Yet Comfortable Work Clothing
Wednesday, 29 October 2014
Most of us put a lot of effort into dressing up for special occasions.  If we have plans to go out somewhere special, we’ll probably buy a new dress, wear heels, do our hair up and get our nails painted.  But we don’t always put that much effort into work clothing.  Yet our work is important to us.  We want to make a good impression on those higher up, get promotions and have a successful career.  For this, it’s important to dress well for work too.  So here are a few ideas:
- The Skirt Suit. The skirt suit is one of the most basic things you can wear to work. It might, at times, seem a tad bit boring but if you are wearing a tight pencil skirt and a well-fitting jacket, a skirt suit can be really flattering without showing too much skin. If you want to shake things up a bit, you can always go with a skirt suit in an unusual colour. Instead of boring navy blue and grey, you could always go with pink or mauve. You can also mix and match the jacket and skirt. For example, if you’re wearing a grey skirt, you can go with a white blouse topped with a pink jacket. There are many interesting combinations you can come up with, from grey and blue to black and maroon. So feel free to experiment.

- The Trouser Suit. Trouser suits are as versatile as skirt suits and can be combined in many of the same ways. You can go with matching trousers and a jacket or you can go with different colours on top and bottom. Just make sure that your trousers fit you well. Cigarette trousers are flattering and make your legs look slim without being too tight for work. Boot cut trousers are also a good choice because they tend to balance out your look with that slight flare at the ankle.

- Business Casual. In many work places, you don’t need to wear suits anymore. You can just combine a nice skirt or a nice pair of trousers with a fancy blouse. Chiffon blouses are great for work. They look classy and elegant and they’re comfortable at the same time. Button down shirts are also a good option and can be tucked into your bottoms or left out. Ruffled tops, silk blouses and tops embellished with stones and embroidery also give you that slight formal edge which you need at work. Combine these with a nice piece of chunky jewellery and you’ll have a promotion-worthy look for work.

Wearing the Right Colours: Fashion Tips for Summers, Winters, Autumns and Springs
Monday, 11 August 2014
Every woman has heard people give her compliments when she
wears a certain colour.  You may not always understand why certain
colours look good on you and others just don’t.  There are certain
colours that most women can carry off, like black, for example.
However, other colours, like yellow, white, pink and magenta, are harder
 to wear.
One way to figure out what colours you should wear is by considering
whether your complexion makes you a summer, winter, autumn, or spring.
Keep in mind that these are just some general fashion tips.
Many women have skin that crosses over from one type into another.
However, these tips are equally applicable to women of all colours.
Whether you’re White, Black, Brown or Asian, you can still figure out
whether you’re a summer, winter, autumn or spring.
Summer.  Some women have a very warm look.  Not
only do they have yellowy overtones to their skin but their
undertones—the colour you generally see in your cheeks when you’re
flushed—are also warm.  If you generally get compliments wearing
neutrals like navy blue, cream or black, you may be a summer.  But
summers can also get away with wearing really bright colours.  The trick
is to keep your bright colours on the cool side so that they form a
contrast with your skin.

Winter.  Women who are winters generally have a
cool skin tone and cool undertones as well.  That pink in their cheeks
which comes out when they’re flushed might have a bluish tinge.  Their
lips tend to be dry and so does their skin.  These women look amazing in
white and other pastel colours.  Cool blacks and blues can also do the
trick but won’t be as eye-catching as exotic colours like turquoise,
purple or lilac.

Autumn.  Women who are autumns have an overall warm
look with some cool elements.  Their hair and skin might be warm but
their eyes might be of a cool colour.  Or maybe their skin and eyes have
a warm look but their hair is of a cooler shade.  Autumns look great in
most autumnal colours.  They are lucky enough to be able to carry off
rich reds, browns, olive greens etc. but don’t look that striking in
lighter tones which tend to wash them out.
Kerry Washington looks so elegant and regal in this Red dress.
Springs.  Women who are springs generally tend to
have a delicate look.  Their skin tones are bright but not as
over-the-top as those of autumns.  Generally, their overtones are warm
but their undertones are cool.  So they start looking more wintry when
they are flushed.  Springs look great in spring colours like pink,
fuchsia, magenta, blue and yellow.  However, they need to be careful
about not wearing clothes that are too bright or they might end up
looking washed out.

Peplum Dresses: Still Raging Hot
Monday, 4 August 2014
According to some fashion suave people, Peplum Dresses' have been around since ancient Greece times. This idea was prolonged in
Dior’s New Look line in the 1940’s, demonstrated by icons like Joan
Crawford. It just goes to show how fashion transcends over time, always
looking for a new comeback.

Sadly, the figure flattering style became lost to the world until it
was reunited with the fashion industry in the Summer of 2012. When these
curve emphasizing dresses were showcased in many different and diverse
stores worldwide, women of all body types quickly stampeded friends and
fellow shoppers to get one. The style was hotter than the sun that
summer, no one was safe from the heat of a confident woman and her newly
acquired style. Also, not only did the general public fall in love with
it. Women like Kim Kardashian and Scarlett Johansson were photographed
many times wearing a Peplum Dress.

Another interesting aspect of the style is that it’s not just
‘Western’ clothing anymore. International super stars like Bollywood Actress Preity Zinta still carry on its legacy today in 2014. It's currently
immersed itself into countries like South Korea, India, Germany, and now
boutiques like BeSaz Boutique are continuing it in Nigeria and Ghana. Designers are also continuing the trend...lets take Nigerian fashion label, Clan for example, they recently unveiled their “Clan Classics” collection.

Hot Clothing Styles This Summer
Sunday, 15 June 2014
Clothing
is a celebration of the season and of a woman's unique personality. If
someone were to eavesdrop in a boutique, they would likely hear such
comments as, "That dress looks so airy and fun for summer" or "That
shade of red is so sassy and confident." Women view clothing as an
extension of their inner selves, and no season is more fun to show off
that personality than the warm summer months.
Fashion trends for the summer of 2014 are sure to celebrate the sun-kissed months with a variety that will meet any woman's individual style. White has long been held as one of the crisper colors of summer.
While white shirts have long been staples in women's wardrobes of all
seasons, Victoria Beckham has redefined the lines, encouraging many
designers to employ geometric, asymmetric designs to give an ordinary
article extraordinary flair.

Blazers can be professional, edgy, or even trendy. Depending on the
fabric, color, and design, a jacket can effectively usher in a new mood
for the beauty of summer. Light pastels are the favorite flavor this
season, boasting rosy pinks, vivid violets, and lush greens.

Generously proportioned trousers also known as Palazzo trousers promise to keep a woman
comfortable while providing a professional, confident style. Depending
on the choice of top, trousers prove perfect for the office or for a
romantic night out on the town. Versatile and flowing, trousers with
such a generous cut will keep their wearer cooler than skinny jeans, but
also more fashionably attired. Celebrities such Blake Lively and Jessica Alba are embracing this trend.

Jewellery Tips: Choosing the Perfect Earrings
Wednesday, 11 June 2014
Choosing earrings that match the color and texture of your outfit is
the fun and easy part of accessorising your look. You also want to be
sure that your earrings compliment the shape of your face.
- Oval face-Lucky you! There are very few earring styles that will offend the oval face. Keep in mind that triangles emphasize a pointy chin and extra long chains will make the narrow face appear even longer.
- Round face-Earrings with sharp angles balance out the beautiful round face. Longer earrings, such as chandelier earrings, are especially flattering.
- Square face-the best earring choices for the square face are pretty much opposite of the round face. Those with more pronounced angles should choose round hoops or ovals, earring styles with more curves. Studs also look fabulous on the square-shaped face.
- Tips for all-have fun with earrings of differences colors and a variety of metals. Metals such as gold, silver, and platinum can be worn with confidence by all. This leaves you with many options while perusing your jewelry box to pick the best earrings to pair with your hot new finds from Besaz.
Now that you are ready to pick the perfect earrings, contact us at Besaz Boutique for the latest in trendy and affordable fashion!

Online Fashion: A Girl’s Best Friend!
Sunday, 11 May 2014
"Online Fashion"—Well
if we didn't know better, we would think it was a metaphor for
“shop-til-you-drop!” Who knew that shopping online would become so
popular for so many people—especially for women?  While brick-and-mortar
(fashion stores) still represent the typical retail model, it has
become imperative for fashion stores to offer their products online as a
way to keep up with the growing competition and the changing demands of
 the customer.

Some of the benefits of shopping online, as opposed to going into the store are:
- You have instant access to fashion all over the world. This means you can make a cultural visit to BeSaz Boutique in Lagos, Nigeria or Accra, Ghana, where you will find some of the most incredible Closet Clothing, as well as amazing Hybrid Fashion pieces, all at affordable prices.
- You avoid the hassles of running to-and-fro. So when the forecast calls for bad weather, it won't be a problem, because you can still shop from the boutique online, and you can do it from any location in the world. This makes all the difference!
- You have a better chance of finding exactly what you’re looking for online. This is because some stores do not stock all their products in-house—instead, they store them in a warehouse, which means there’s a greater chance the item(s) you are looking for will be in stock.
- You often find more discounts than you would if you walked into the store. Not to mention the offer of low-cost shipping on outbound orders. This is a benefit online stores offer to stay ahead of the competition.
- You have the ability to “gift-shop” for family members and friends, because most stores will drop ship your order to a different address at no extra cost to you...which too, is another way store owners stay ahead of their competition.
With our online fashion store, BeSaz Boutique is
able to offer customers in Nigeria and Ghana a fast and easy way to shop from our store, and the ability to keep up with new fashion trends.  For more information about the different products we offer, please contact us or visit our online store.

Crop Tops - The Best Way to Show Off Your Hard Earned Abs this Summer
So you've made your 2014 goal come to life - you worked out
hard and put in the effort it required to turn that belly into some
rockin' abs.  Congratulations on a job well done!  Now you can romp
around on the beach in an itty-bitty bikini.  Go ahead!  Do it!  You've
earned the right.
After all that hard work though, wouldn't it be nice to be able to
show off your results even when you're not at the beach or poolside?
We've got great news! You couldn't have reached this inspiring goal at a
better time - EVER!  This season's hottest look is the crop top. Crop Tops
come in a variety of styles such as turtle necks, short sleeves, or
sleeveless and in just as many fabulous fabrics.  This look was made to
celebrate the dedication, sweat, and tears it takes for a woman to
achieve a healthy, fierce body.  You don't have to look far to spot celebrities showing off their hard
 won abs.

Kim Kardashian combining the Turtleneck and Metallic Crop Top Trend.
Victoria Beckham showing us how to rock the Crop Top look in a classy and corporate way.
Nicole Richie shows us how to rock a Crop Top with a High-Waisted Maxi Skirt by Alberta Ferretti.
Recently, Eddie Murphy's daughters, Bria and Shayne each
rocked the look in their own rock chick way for an interview with Extra!.  Shayne
wore a grey crop top with skin tight jeans and black stiletto booties
while Bria chose to mix it up in a black crop top, denim shorts layered
over black tights, and black knee high stiletto boots.
All we can say
here at BeSaz Boutique is...WOW!
The best news yet is that you can achieve this style and still be able to maintain your gym membership!  Contact us
at BeSaz Boutique; we take great pride in offering you the latest
styles and trends at an affordable price - without skimping on quality.
Check out our selection of Crop Tops and create your own buzz this summer.
