it comes to understanding why a handbag is so important to a woman, men have
always been at something of a loss.
Rather than considering the contents to be valuable and essential, men
have traditionally dismissed most items as unnecessary for everyday life. But now a female judge in the UK has leapt to
the defence of the humble handbag, after a barrister suggested having one
stolen was merely a crime of "inconvenience".
Dismissing
his claims, Her Honour Judge Zoe Smith, said the victim was often left
suffering from stress, anxiety and fear, adding that the crime should not be
trivialised.

The one thing I share with womenfolk worldwide is the tendency
to put a tonne of unnecessary items in my handbag. I used to be one of
those women who’d only buy those ridiculously large tote bags, because well
they could fit every and anything. Now,

Ghana Fashion & Design Week or GFDW isn't being held until October his year in the capital Accra but that doesn't stop us from being excited about it already!
Recognised as a contemporary international platform, envisioned to direct, lead and promote both emerging and established designers to a global audience.
The annual event is a celebration of Ghana's Fashion and creative business industry and highlights the fashion business scene in Ghana.

Nigerian Fashion Week

New York, London, Milan and Paris - The four major Fashion Capitals as we once knew it, but things are changing.
Major city's such as Mumbai, Poland, Sao Paulo and Singapore now all hold their own fashion weeks through out the year including Nigeria which comes under African Fashion Week along with Cape Town, Congo, Nairobi and Swahili to name a few.
This year Nigerian Fashion Week is set to be held in May at the Eko Hotel in Lagos. A chance for African designers to showcase and receive support for their collections which they are no doubt working on endlessly whilst you are reading this, and if last year is anything to go by then we can't wait.
In 2014, highlights came from Aama A La Mode, Aweyan and Daviva to name a few.
